Eleanor Davis and Dean Haspiel book-release party this friday

You may know Eleanor Davis from her incredible mini-comics and her regular contributions to MOME. Did you know she just made an awesome kid's book? It's called "Stinky," and it's about a monster who who loves pickles. It's really cute and funny, and it's published by Francoise Mouly and Art Spiegelman's TOON Books imprint.

Another new TOON book is "Mo and Jo" by Dean Haspiel and legendary underground cartoonist Jay Lynch. It's a tongue-in-cheek superhero story about two twins who love the same superhero but can't stand each other! Really fun stuff.

Join us this Friday, September 5th for a book-release party for both books, milk and cookies, and signings by the artists.
